The wine production brand Vina La Rosa is one of the oldest brands, with many years of experience and very famous in Chile. Founded by the Ossa family in 1824 from the purchase of land owned by the first President of Chile. Today, the sixth generation of the family, now headed by Ismael Ossa , continues the legacy of the founders. He turned Vina La Rosa into a world-class producer of delicious wines. Vina La Rosa owns 3 main vineyards with 864 hectares in Cachapoal valley with a special vineyard located in Chile’s national nature reserve where the soil is fertile.

Vina La Rosa produces different types of wine from popular wines to the highest quality (Icon wine), 95% of production is exported to more than 40 countries around the world.

Production process

La Rosa Icon Wine Carmenere is a premium red wine line with outstanding quality that many people choose to serve at formal parties. La Rosa is made from 95% of the best Carmenere grapes from Puemo – the place known as the cradle of Chile’s best Carmenere grapes, combined with 5% of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety. The wine is aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels with the highest class Icon Wine of Chile.

La Rosa is the crystallization and harmony of 4 elements: Honoring the origin, traditional techniques, skillful hands of the workers, and nature’s blessings here.

Since its inception, this wine has touched the hearts of many wine-loving guests. Bringing a great influence to the domestic and world markets.

Therefore, this bottle of wine has won countless awards since it appeared on the market, including a gold medal at the Korean wine tasting festival in 2018, reaching 90 points by James Suckling tasting in 2018, Decanter World Wine Awards with a score of 95.

Smell

The wine has a characteristic purple red color and a rich, complex aroma of fruits such as black plums and ripe tropical fruits.

Added to that is the flavor of cigarette smoke, a bit of oak, a bit of clove and a hint of dark chocolate. All have brought a very special flavor. Soft tannins and balanced acidity bring your party a certain success.
