Château Marjosse, under the management of owner Pierre Lurton – CEO of the first two wine castles in Bordeaux, has quickly become famous for its valuable wines in the Entre – Deux – Mers region.

The Lurton family’s chateau, with over 60 hectares, boasts first-class infrastructure and a vineyard overseen by the best manager. Since 2009 Marjosse has focused specifically on the production of premium wines, surprising and admiring many international wine critics.

Grape region

Chateau Marjosse is located in the “Entre-Deux-Mers” area which is the area between the rivers Garonne and Dordogne. This is the largest AOC growing region in France and appears on only a limited number of wines from the region.

Production process

Château Marjosse is made from vines with an average age of over 20 years, perfectly blended from 4 grape varieties: 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Malbec.

Grapes are harvested in August under strict control procedures. Malolactic fermentation takes place in December, then the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The wine is stable in bottles for 6-8 months before being released to consumers.

Smell

Ruby red with purple reflections. Elegant aromas of blueberry, raspberry and licorice. The blend of 4 grape varieties brings softness and lightness with the impression of the rich, smooth taste of ripe fruit. Balanced wine structure with a long aftertaste.

Enjoy

Enjoy with red meat dishes, beef, grilled lamb chops, cheese, salad, etc.

Serving temperature 16-18 degrees Celsius. For better taste, chill for 20-30 minutes, continue to let the wine breathe for 30-45 minutes to reduce the concentration suppressed in the wine bottle.
