Italian wine producer Botter

Botter was founded by Carlo Botter and his wife Maria in 1928 in Fossalta di Piave, a small town near Venice. At first, Botter was just a small business selling local wine. By the 60s, Arnaldo and Enzo had joined the Company and began selling bottled wine.

These two men boosted the Company’s presence on the Italian market and – most importantly – They revitalized the company through the gradual expansion of the business across other countries, which would later become become the main source of income for the Company.

In the 80s, thanks to many close collaborations with local producers, Botter began offering new wines from the regions of Abruzzo, Campania, Puglia and Sicily; This was just the starting point for Botter which would later grow and spread by supplying wine across the country, from Northern to Southern Italy.

Per Te Italian wine production process

The grapes are harvested from the second half of August. Fermentation is carried out using the traditional “sink cap” system, carefully controlled to extract delicate tannins and rich fruit character. .

During the maturation phase in stainless steel tanks, in wood and bottles, these grow to reach their highest possible levels. The soaking process lasts for 12-15 days at a controlled temperature not exceeding 25°C.

Taste of Italian wine  Per Te

The wine is dark purple in color, tending to turn amber the longer it ages. Fruity, with notes of plum, cherry jam and tobacco; spicy with an aftertaste of cocoa, coffee and vanilla. Very solid structure due to high alcohol level and balance between soft tannins and acidity.
