Vina La Rosa is one of the oldest brands, with many years of experience and very famous in Chile. Founded by the Ossa family in 1824 from the purchase of land owned by the first President of Chile. To this day, it has always received the trust of customers around the world with many prestigious awards.

Today, the sixth generation of the family, now headed by Ismael Ossa , continues the legacy of the founders. He turned Vina La Rosa into a world-class producer of delicious wines. Vina La Rosa owns 3 main vineyards with 864 hectares in Cachapoal valley with a special vineyard located in Chile’s national nature reserve where the soil is fertile.

Vina La Rosa produces different types of wine from popular wines to the highest quality (Icon wine), 95% of production is exported to more than 40 countries around the world.

Production process

After being harvested, the grapes will be transported to factories for preliminary processing and crushing to get grape juice. This juice will then be transferred to stainless steel tanks for fermentation in closed rooms at standard temperatures.

After the fermentation process is completed, the craftsmen will let the yeast ferment the wine in oak barrels for about 5 months. Once the specified incubation time has been reached, it is bottled and kept in the wine cellar for several months before being released to the market.

Smell

The wine has a ruby red color. The scent of ripe fruit. Smells faintly of burnt bread and vanilla. The wine has a rich, fatty taste, gentle tannins, and is easy to drink.
