Angelo Rocca & Figli is a group of two producers Rocca and Dezzani located in two famous Italian wine growing regions, Piemont and Puglia.

Rocca is a famous and long-standing brand spanning 5 generations with a history of more than 200 years.
Dezzani was established in 1934 in the Cocconato d’Asti region and has experienced 3 generations of winemaking.

Angelo Rocca & Figli is a major brand with many prestigious awards in international wine competitions and product presence in more than 40 countries around the world.

Production process

Grande Passolo Rosso is a combination of two traditional and famous Italian grape varieties: Negroamaro and Primitivo. A bottle of Grande Passolo wine is the perfect choice for a cozy party with loved ones or can also be given as a gift.

Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels for 6 months before bottling. So the flavor has reached perfect maturity. The natural alcohol content of grapes makes the wine’s flavor even more excellent.

Grande Passolo Rosso Salento wine won the 2017 Gilbert & Gillard gold medal.

Smell

With a deep red color and aroma of tropical fruits and vanilla. The wine has a rounded, balanced structure with silky tannins. Grande Passolo Rosso is like a beautiful bouquet of flowers under the full sun of Southern Italy. A bit of spicy white pepper blends with licorice, mocha, ripe strawberry and sweet dark chocolate.

It tastes better when refrigerated at a temperature of 16 to 18 degrees Celsius.
